In keeping with the regulations for the CIC Professional Development Program, attendance at the Toronto Chapter/CIC Graduation will earn members 5 PD points towards the program.
The Meeting and PARKING IS FREE for this event, DO NOT pay at the parking meter, just go straight to the meeting room as refunds will not be issued (please give your license plate # to Erin Marcelino when you register for this meeting)

2011 AGM Minutes
Thursday April 21, 2011
- The President, Bonnie Mayes, CCP called the meeting to order at 6:06 pm
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP called upon the Secretary, Gail Maguire, CCP to read the Notice of Meeting.
- The President called upon Bill Zabarylo, CCP (Emeritus), CGA to report the number present. There were 44 people in attendance, of which 40 were members.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP declared this a duly constituted meeting and reminded the attendees that only designated (CCP, ACI and CCP (Emeritus) members that are current paid members are eligible to vote.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP called to adopt the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting.
- Gail Maguire, CCP made a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting as published.
Seconded by: Julie Varey, CCP (Carried)
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP presented Presidents address to the membership.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP to introduce the Board Members.
- Peter Finlay, CCP (President & Dean of the CIC) presented speech.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP called upon Paul Dover to present the By-Law’s committee report.
Seconded by: Sue Boultwood, CCP (Carried)
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP called upon the committee chairs to present their own report on the activities of their committee for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.

Bob Thivierge, CCP (Emeritus) - presented the ACI/CCP (Emeritus) Committee report.

Bill Zabarylo, CCP (Emeritus), CGA - presented the Golf Committee report.

Gary York, CCP - presented the Membership/Education report.

Peter Finlay, CCP - presented the National Directors report.

Lorne Booth, CCP (Emeritus) - presented the Scholarship & Awards Committee report.

Magda Cristescu, CCP - presented the Seminar Committee report.

Jim Warren, CCP seconded all committee reports. (Carried)
- Julie Varey, CCP presented the Treasurer’s report and moved for its adoption as presented.

- Errol Markle, CCP read the Examiners report and moved for its adoption as presented.
Seconded by: Jane Mackenzie, CCP (Carried)
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP notified the membership that an Auditor would be appointed in the next several months.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP presented the Nominating Committee report and called for further nominations.
- Paurus Kanga, CCP made a motion that nominations be closed.
Seconded by: Supinder Babra, CCP (Carried)
- Gail Maguire, CCP cast the ballot electing those nominated
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP Called for any further business.
- As there was not any further business Bonnie Mayes, CCP declared the meeting adjourned at 6:40 pm.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP announced a brief board meeting to follow.
- Bonnie Mayes, CCP invited everyone to stay to enjoy the refreshments.
