MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
CREDIT INSTITUTE OF CANADA-TORONTO CHAPTER
THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2009
AT THE HOLIDAY INN – TORONTO AIRPORT EAST
1. The President, Jane Kiss, CCP called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm
2. Jane Kiss, CCP called upon the Secretary, Julie Varey, CCP to read the Notice of Meeting.
3. The President called upon Bill Zabarylo, CGA, CCP (Emeritus) to report the number present. There were 58 people in attendance, of which 55 were members.
4. Jane Kiss, CCP declared this a duly constituted meeting and reminded the attendees that only designated CCP, ACI and CCP (Emeritus) members that are current paid members are eligible to vote.
5. Jane Kiss, CCP called to adopt the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting.
6. Julie Varey, CCP made a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting as published.
Seconded by: Bonnie Mayes, CCP Carried
7. Jane Kiss, CCP presented Presidents address to the membership.
8. Jane Kiss, CCP to introduce the Board Members.
9. Jane Kiss, CCP called upon the committee chairs to present their own report on the activities of their committee for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
- Ram Persaud, CCP presented the Seminar Committee report.
- Gary York, CCP presented the Membership report.
- Bill Zabarylo, CGA, CCP (Emeritus) presented the Golf Committee report.
- Peter Finlay, CCP presented the Awards Committee report.
- Peter Finlay, CCP presented the National Directors report.
- Julie Varey, CCP presented the ACI/CCP (Emeritus) Committee report.
- Paul Dover, CCP presented the By-Laws Committee report.
- Paul Dover, CCP presented the Special Events Committee report.

13. Jane Kiss, CCP presented the Nominating Committee report and called for further nominations.

15. Julie Varey, CCP cast the ballot electing those nominated (Brought envelope in folder titled Secretary's Ballot to the podium and gave it to the President).
16. Jane Kiss, CCP presented a closing announcement and invitation to stay for the meet and greet
17. Jane Kiss, CCP Called for any further business.
18. As there was not any further business Jane Kiss, CCP declared the meeting adjourned at 6:40 pm
19. Jane Kiss, CCP announced a brief board meeting to follow.
