2006 GOLF CONTESTSCLOSEST TO THE PIN CONTEST:Closest to the pin contests were held at West #8 & East #7 holes and was sponsored by Equifax Canada Inc. There were two winners, one male and one female and each received a trophy and a LCD TV set. PUTTING CONTEST:The Putting contest was sponsored by AllianceOne Ltd. There were two winners, the male winner received a trophy and a Toshiba Portable DVD player and the female player received a trophy and an HP Photosmart Digital Camera. HOLE IN ONE CONTEST:The Hole in One contest was sponsored by MJR Collection Services Limited and was held at West #11 hole. The prize was a Ford Mustang from Summit Ford. Unfortunately no one won the Ford, so the player closest to the pin received a beautiful Golf Bag. LONGEST DRIVE CONTEST:The Longest Drive contest was sponsored by NuComm Credit Services. The contest was held at West #13 & East #12 Holes. There were 4 winners, 2 male and 2 female. Each received a trophy, an MP3 Player and a NuComm Gift Bag. BEAT THE PRO:This contest was sponsored by Collateral Recovery and Administration. A representative of CRA greeted each foursome at West #16 and East #15 Holes. Each person tried to get their drive on the green and inside that of the CRA rep’s shot. Winners had their name put into a hat. The draw took place after dinner and 2 winners each received a beautiful Golfers Gift Basket. LOGO BALL CONTEST:This contest was sponsored by Equifax Canada Inc. Each foursome was given a golf ball with Equifax Logo. Each foursome that returned the ball after the round without losing it had their names put into a hat. After dinner, a draw was made and each person in the winning foursome received a LG Electronics Micro HiFi System. HUMMER GOLF CART CONTEST:Tickets were sold at $5 each or 3 for $10. The winner and partner won the privilege to drive the Hummer Golf Cart during their round. The Cart was equipped with cooler and stocked with Gatorade, Water & Munchies. Second prize was a Harley Davidson Golf Cart POKER HOLE:At #8 West players wagered up to $20 and could triple their bet if they could get their drive inside a 10 foot circle (20 feet in diameter) around the hole. |
